On 4th September 2024, Yeo Valley Organic, Britain’s largest organic brand, celebrated its 30th anniversary by honoring its heritage while embracing the future. Located in Somerset’s picturesque Yeo Valley, this family-owned business operates two organic farms, where they raise British Friesian cows and produce a variety of organic products, including yogurt, cream, milk, butter, cheese, ice cream, and soup.

To mark the occasion, Yeo Valley Organic partnered with Great British Bake Off (GBBO) winner Frances Quinn, who returned to Somerset – where she won the 2013 season of GBBO – to craft a stunning celebratory cake. The design reflected Yeo Valley’s commitment to sustainable practices, their love for the soil, care for their cows, and dedication to producing high-quality organic products.

“Over 66 years in the Yeo Valley; over 50 years as yogurt makers; and now over 30 years as an organic brand. We would like to thank everybody who has been a part of the journey so far; our British organic family farms, our co-owners and suppliers, and our customers. We’re looking forward to the next 33 years that will complete our 100-year plan!” said Tim Mead, CEO of Yeo Valley Organic.

Frances Quinn also hosted an exclusive workshop for loyal “Legendairy Yeokeners,” members of Yeo Valley’s Yeokens loyalty scheme, which allows members to redeem points for unique experiences, prizes, and discounts.

“I was thrilled to be asked to bake Yeo Valley’s 30th birthday cake and return to Somerset, where my baking journey began. I’m incredibly proud of what we created—a three-tiered cake that celebrates three decades of Yeo Valley. It was an honor to spread the joy with the team and celebrate 30 years of this amazing brand,” said Frances Quinn.

Yeo Valley Organic, widely recognized for its organic dairy products, is expanding its offerings to become the UK’s leading organic food brand. Recent additions include organic soup, and the company plans further growth in the coming year. This year, Yeo Valley achieved record sales of £200 million, cementing its place as a favorite among consumers.

Still 100% family-owned by the Mead family, with 1,700 co-owners based in the West Country, Yeo Valley Organic continues to champion innovative organic and regenerative farming practices. With 2,000 acres in the Mendips, Somerset, the company is committed to ensuring a sustainable future while improving access to the countryside for all.
