bracket I teams – Florida, Virginia, TCU, and Oral Roberts

bracket II teams – Wake Forest, LSU, Stanford, and Tennessee

MCWS bracket 1 features conventional heavy hitters like LSU, and bracket 2 features intriguing teams like TCU and Oral Roberts with Florida and Virginia.

The Tigers, led by presumed first-overall pick Dylan Crews, are looking to win the College World Series for the first time since 2009. Paul Skenes of LSU is an excellent option. Florida will become a must-watch state due to the presence of MLB prospect Wyatt Langford and Jac Caglianone.

To get to the CWS, Virginia defeated Duke 12-2 at the Charlottesville super regional. Pitcher Brian Edgington of the Cavaliers threw 114 pitches in the game. Top-ranked Wake Forest features future MLB pitchers like Rhett Lowder, Seth Keener, and Sean Sullivan.

In the Stanford regional, Stanford beat Texas 7-6 in extra innings to advance to the College World Series. Joey Dixon improved to 8-2 on the year. The Cardinal avoided being eliminated by Quinn Matthews’ complete game.

Tennessee won the final CWS berth with a 5-0 shutout over Southern Miss. The Volunteers beat the Golden Eagles and moved on to Omaha.
