The Cruïlla Festival has announced that it is maintaining its edition this year, scheduled for July 8 to 10 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, and that it will be held in conditions “equal, or very similar” to those before the pandemic . At the same time, the festival has announced changes to the line-up, which will finally not feature Residente or Fat Freddy’s Drope. On the other hand, the Cruïlla incorporates to its programming a Bite, Natos & Waor, La Casa Azul, Delafé, and Joan Garriga and Mariatxi Galàctic.
After postponing their appointment last year due to covid-19, which they replaced with the Cruïlla XXS, a series of performances of reduced format and limited capacity in emblematic spaces of the Catalan capital, the festival returns in the summer of 2021 once they have verified that “Live culture is not the cause of the spread of the virus.”
