International Call of the Furniture Industry: “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul”

The global furniture market, concluding 2023 with a robust $740 billion, is on the verge of a significant assembly at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair, scheduled from 23rd to 28th January. This prestigious event, a traditional and esteemed meeting place within the sector, is expected to attract 200,000 professionals globally.

The world’s furniture sector is gearing up for the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), set for 23rd to 28th January. This significant event, a collaborative initiative between TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, and supported by the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), is expected to host 200,000 industry experts from 200 countries. The fair, taking place at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center, will showcase over a thousand companies, encompassing 3,000 brands.

As a prominent event in the furniture industry, the fair, with the theme “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” aims to display the most recent 2024 designs from various product lines to its attendees.

We invite the entire industry to our fair, where we will present the furniture trends of 2024,” Ahmet Güleç, President of MOSFED, the supporter of IIFF and a key figure in the Turkish furniture sector, stated.

Catalysing a Vibrant Atmosphere for New Business Ventures

ResearchAndMarkets’ data suggests that the global furniture sector, which ended 2023 with $739.44 billion, is expected to reach $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, boasting an annual production of $12 billion, is set to host its international partners. The IIFF will exhibit a broad spectrum of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school furniture, and accessories.

IIFF2024, spanning six days, will organise its exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center, divided according to product groups. This will offer visitors the opportunity to closely examine a wide variety of products. Additionally, the fair is designed to create an energetic setting ideal for initiating new business alliances.
